Compact Home Photography Studio

My studio is configured for controlled photography using multiple continuous-light softboxes, camera tripods, interchangeable backgrounds, tabletop and seated setups, and additional portable lighting. The layout can be adapted for still-life photography, people, close-up details, technical sequences, and natural lifestyle scenes.

Cameras

Sony a7C II

Full-frame mirrorless camera used as my primary system for high-resolution photography, controlled studio work, natural lifestyle imagery and structured image sequences.

Nikon D7200

APS-C DSLR used as a secondary camera and for specialised close-up and macro photography.

Both camera systems can be used in full manual mode and mounted on tripods for fixed-camera sequences requiring consistent framing, exposure and focus control.

Professional standard zoom suitable for environmental scenes, people, objects, lifestyle photography and flexible studio production.

Sony FE 40mm F2.5 G

Compact prime lens suitable for natural perspective, everyday lifestyle imagery, portraits, details and controlled indoor scenes.

AF-S DX Micro Nikkor 85mm F3.5G ED VR

Dedicated macro lens for close-up photography, small objects, textures, hands, materials and precise visual details.

AF-S DX Nikkor 18–55mm F3.5–5.6G VR

Versatile zoom lens for wider scenes, general photography and secondary-camera setups.

Additional lenses are available for selected creative and experimental work.

Lighting

My studio lighting equipment includes:

  • Godox AD200Pro II portable flash

  • Godox XPro II wireless flash trigger

  • Nikon Speedlight SB-700

  • Three 50 × 70 cm continuous-light softboxes

  • One softbox that can be positioned overhead using a boom-style support

  • 25 cm beauty ring light

  • Coloured gels and lighting filters

  • Additional magenta accent light for coloured and experimental setups

This combination allows me to work with soft continuous lighting, controlled off-camera flash, overhead light, beauty lighting, coloured accents and mixed-light setups.

Backgrounds and Surfaces

I have a varied collection of interchangeable fabrics and background materials, including:

  • black plush, jersey and fabric

  • white jersey, fabric, tulle, gauze and faux fur

  • green jersey

  • natural raw canvas

  • yellow and champagne-coloured fabrics

  • striped and graphic printed materials

  • translucent and textured drapery

The backgrounds can be layered, suspended or arranged as surfaces and environmental elements, depending on the visual requirements of the project.

Styling and Props

A selection of styling elements and props is also available, including:

  • wigs in different styles

  • various eyeglass frames and sunglasses

  • fabrics, veils and wearable materials

  • art supplies and creative tools

  • household and lifestyle objects

Additional props can be sourced or created according to the requirements of a specific brief.

Additional Capture Options

A compact action camera, mini drone and several analogue camera formats are available for selected projects requiring alternative viewpoints, motion-based capture or a more experimental visual approach.
